With a case crafted of maple veneers and engineered wood solids, this clock features a glass crystal and metal swinging pendulum. This clock has both Westminster and Whittington quarter-hour chimes (4/4) with an hour count and an automatic nighttime silence switch that will automatically turn off the chime every night or 24-hour chime. There is a volume control where the chime may also be silenced completely. The accurate quartz battery operated movement takes 1 ''C'' battery (included).
